The Jacobite Grants of Urquhart and Glenmoriston is a top quality hard back book with a sewn binding, which will stand the test of time and will never fall apart, it has a gloss dust jacket with silver foil lettering on the spine, its word count is 282.000 spread over 632 pages, it contains 61 coloured images and around 30 greyscale images. It measures, in inches, 9.5 x 6.5 x 2.5.The weight of the book is just under 1.2kg.
It is an Academic book in nature which does not contain anything fictional, it is the culmination of 15 years of research and 5 years of writing. It contains 576 citations which will identify the original source of any information used within it, much of the information is reproduced from historical letters held in the National Archives at Kew or the Cumberland Papers from Windsor Castle, quotations used are only taken from highly respected historical books and journals.
My charge for the book is £33, It then costs £33 to post the book to the US or Canada via royal mail, the delivery I am told takes between 5 and 7 working days, its delivery can be tracked online by the number on the postal receipt which will be emailed to you.
There is then a charge of £1 for packaging
Pay pal also makes a charge a 6% on payments from the US to cover their fees which include currency exchange costs from US Dollars to Pounds Sterling, which adds a further charge of £4 to the above
The total cost of sending the book by airmail to North America is £71 which at the current exchange rate ( 24th April 2025) equates to

A secondary cheaper option, is to have the book posted via royal mail by surface mail ship, this i am told can take up to 42 days although I am reliably informed that goods often arrive earlier than indicated, the cost of this service is £18 which results in a cost of
£33 for the book
£18 for postage
£1 for packaging
£3.12 in pay pal fees.
This gives a total cost of £55 which equates to
